    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office honored four student-athletes in the sport of field hockey this afternoon. Fitchburg State University senior midfielder Mari Roma (Foxborough, Mass.) was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Bridgewater State University sophomore back Julie Cardoza (North Easton, Mass.) was honored as the Defensive Player of the Week. Plymouth State University sophomore Hilary Lemelin (Milan, N.H.) was chosen as the Goalkeeper of the Week and teammate freshman forward Jackie Morin (Scarborough, Maine) was tabbed as the Rookie of the Week.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office honored four student-athletes in the sport of men's soccer this afternoon. Eastern Connecticut State University junior forward Matt Furman (Montville, Conn.) earned Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Rhode Island College sophomore back Tucker Shepard (Tiverton, R.I.) was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week. University of Massachusetts Boston sophomore Brycen Dowd (Mansfield, Mass.) was tabbed as the Goalkeeper of the Week, while teammate freshman Stefanos Galouzis (Watertown, Mass.) was selected as the Rookie of the Week.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office honored four student-athletes in the sport of women's soccer this afternoon. Keene State College senior forward Katie Bradford (Lebanon, N.H.) and Plymouth State University junior midfielder Sam Laliberte (Concord, N.H.) were named Co-Offensive Players of the Week. Eastern Connecticut State University senior back Lauren Hickey (Southwick, Mass.) was selected as Defensive Player of the Week, while Western Connecticut State University Caitlin Avery (East Hampton, Conn.) was tabbed as Goalkeeper of the Week. University of Massachusetts Boston freshman forward Tayla Andrews (Plymouth, Mass.) was named as the Rookie of the Week.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts Boston earned two of the three Little East Conference volleyball weekly awards this afternoon. Sophomore middle hitter Shannon Thompson (Moorpark, Calif.) was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman outside hitter Corrine Porter (Huntington Beach, Calif.) was selected as the Rookie of the Week. Western Connecticut State University junior libero Kelley Collins (Massapequa, N.Y.) was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week.Thompson averaged 4.25 kills per set in 12 sets over four matches, while hitting a robust .581 with just eight attack errors in 74 swings. The sophomore served up five aces and registered seven blocks, including three solos to contribute to 5.08 points per set.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office honored a pair of women's tennis student-athletes this afternoon. University of Massachusetts Dartmouth senior Amy Lopes (Dartmouth, Mass.) was named the Player of the Week, while Bridgewater State University freshman Alison Joseph (Dartmouth, Mass.) was chosen as the Rookie of the Week.Lopes won both of her matches last week, teaming with Alexa Fiorita to defeat Lauren Donnelly and Jessica Francis of Bridgewater State at top-flight doubles, 8-6. The Dartmouth, Mass. native also defeated Donnelly in top-flight singles in straigh sets 6-3, 6-2.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office honored three student-athletes in cross country this afternoon. Keene State College's senior Eric MacKnight (Newtown, Conn.) was named the Male Runner of the Week. The Owls' junior Paige Mills (Keene, N.H.) was selected as the Female Runner of the Week, while Rhode Island College freshman Chelsea Marshall (New Bedford, Mass.) was chosen as the Female Rookie of the Week.MacKnight was the top finisher for Keene State at the New England Championships held at Boston's Franklin Park on Saturday. The senior from Newtown, Conn. finished 23rd overall and fourth among Division III runners with a time of 25 minutes and 17 seconds.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Eastern Connecticut State University sophomore midfielder Taylor Buchanan (Ellington, Conn.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week this afternoon. The Warriors also held steady at No. 5 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III New England Region rankings for the second straight week. Buchanan fueled the Eastern Connecticut (9-0-1) offensive attack with five goals for 10 points in victories over Salem State University and Little East foe University of Massachusetts Boston this past week.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office honored four student-athletes in the sports of men's soccer this afternoon. Eastern Connecticut State University sophomore back Bradley Fletcher (Middletown, Conn.) and freshman back Mike Radlbeck (Westbrook, Conn.) were chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively. Keene State College sophomore forward Joe Senecal (Manchaug, Mass.) was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Western Connecticut State University freshman Jack Holub (Sherman, Conn.) was tabbed as the Goalkeeper of the Week.Senecal scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Keene State to a 1-0 win over Rhode Island College.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office announced its latest edition of field hockey weekly award winners this afternoon. Keene State College junior forward Aislynn Sherry (Rehoboth, Mass.) and senior Meghan Ledoux (Standish, Maine) were selected as the Offensive Player of the Week and the Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively. Plymouth State University junior back Brittany Triechel (Clinton, Conn.) and freshman forward Annabelle Frenette (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) were chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively. Sherry produced five goals for 10 points this past week as Keene State posted a 2-0 mark in Little East action. The Rehoboth, Mass. product registered her first hat trick of the season, including the game-winner, in a victory over Western Connecticut.
