    Webster University and Westminster College will face off in the 2018 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship, becoming the first underdog championship game in the tournament's 22-year history.

  • Massner Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

    The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team was announced this morning and Iowa Wesleyan University's Darby Massner was named to First Team Academic All-District® as a representative of District 8 which is made up of twenty-one states and Canada. She is the lone student-athlete from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to earn the honor this season.

    For the first time in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference history Blackburn College and Greenville University will meet for the Men's Basketball Tournament Championship.

    MacMurray College inducted four alumni into the college's Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday evening at a ceremony held on campus. Edward Kowalczyk, class of 2002, the late Kelsey Vaughn-Turner, class of 2007, Kimberly (Ryan) Byers, class of 2007, and Tobias Alaribe, Jr., class of 2012, were honored for their years as Highlanders.

  • 2018 SLIAC Men's Basketball Tournament Preview

    This year's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament will include a battle of defending champions and two newcomers to the field. Westminster College is the two-time defending tournament champion and will face Greenville University, who has won a share of the regular season title in each of the last three seasons, in the opening round. Meanwhile, Eureka College will be making their first postseason trip since 2013 and face Blackburn College, who are making their first trip since 2006.
